Wet feet.

Bryan and I rolled into San Diego on April the 11th worn out from the 86 mile day through traffic and headwinds. The Pacific Ocean stretched out before us.  It had been a while since I had smelled salt water.  It's a long way from coast to coast, but somehow riding a bike across makes the world seem smaller.

We stayed with Bones (AT 2008) in San Diego and from there rented a car and drove to Berkeley to stay with Kyle and my sister who both live near by.

Bryans trip ends here, he is thinking about catching a train home soon,  but plans are subject to change of course.  I'll be starting the PCT around April 25th or so, but first I'll have to figure out how to get there.  I'll be hiking on the pacific crest for about 5 months from Mexico to Canada so these blog posts will be less frequent for sure.  I'll do my best to post something once in a while though.  Oh, and we went skydiving.. that was awesome.
